From the discouses of Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja.
Eternal, blissful, and radiant with bhakti, or devotion to the Supreme Lord, the soul in its pure state is untainted by anything of this temporary realm. Over the ages, divine personalities embodying this state have taught us how to strive for it. They have stressed that pure bhakti cannot be imitated, and that any imitation is an obstacle to uncovering our true self, which dances endlessly, with variegated, exhilarating sentiments of selfless devotion.
